PM Shri Narendra Modi turned emotional and paused his speech briefly while remembering a late BJP leader, Ramesh, who was hacked to death in 2013.
“Today, I remember Auditor Ramesh,” PM Modi said. He paused his speech for over a minute, apperantly to gain control of his emotions.
The crowd fell silent for a few moments and then raised slogans for a long time in Modi’s support.
