Prime Minister Modi will hold a virtual meeting on Wednesday with Chief Ministers of States on the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in India.
Recent spike is believed to be due to decreasing safe guards and precautions for Corona guidelines.
6 States of India account for 85 % of cases. Out of 26,291 cases recorded in India, 16,620 cases are from Maharashtra alone.
